Batman versus the Steel Claw

Alas, no, it isn’t the title of a forthcoming graphic novel teaming up one of yesteryear’s classic British comic characters against the Caped Crusader. However, it is my way of telling you that we have picked a couple of rather choice graphic novels from our new site for a special offer this coming week in our regular newsletter.

This week you can pre-order Titan’s eagerly-anticipated reprint of the The Steel Claw. Louis Crandell, the man with the metal appendage which allows him to become invisible (except for the steel hand) when it comes in contact with high voltage (kids, do not try this at home and never put on a metal gauntlet and stick your fingers in the socket!). It a classic slice of British comics history and also ties in with Alan Moore’s revival of some of these characters with Albion.

Volume three of Batman – War Games comes from DC in September and concludes the massive tidal wave of violence in Gotham which has seen the Batman having to call on every ally and resource he can. It’s been a huge hit with our readers too and the first two volumes have ridden consistently high in our top sellers. Just for this week we are offering you both of these excellent new titles at an extremely generous 35% off, so what are you waiting for?
