The organisers of Interaction, the SF Worldcon, have announced that the Chesley awards (named for famed astronomical artist Chesley Bonestell) which are given each year by the Association of Science Fiction and Fantasy Artists (ASFA), will be presented at the Glasgow Worldcon in August.

Jannie Shea, the ASFA President, commented: “The visual arts offer a unique means to express science fiction and fantasy themes, and ASFA is delighted to be working closely with Interaction on both the Chesley Awards and the Art Show. I hope that all of the attendees will take the time to look around the exhibits and to meet some of the artists working in the field whilst they are at the convention”.

Sounds like good advice to us! A list of the artists participating in the Interaction Art Show can be found on the Interaction web site.
