Tinsel Town’s trade paper, Variety, reports that Graham Tallman has been hired to work on the script for the proposed film adaptation of Ted Naifeh’s wonderful Courtney Crumrin series from Oni Press. Effects legend Stan Winston may be involved in producing the film, which has to be good news for the creature effects. Ted’s delightful series is one of my favourites – don’t dismiss it as yet another Goth comic book if you haven’t read it yet; it draws as much on magical fantasy as Gothic horror and has a superb (sometimes sick) sense of humour.
