The DC titles for October are now live on our site for advance orders (a day later than usual due to the big San Diego Comic Con). There are some cool-looking titles in there, including Catwoman – When in Rome from the top-team of Jeph Loeb ad Tim Sale, leading on from their excellent Batman titles The Long Halloween and Dark Victory, along with a paperback of the tenth anniversary edition of Arkham Asylum (and how creepy is that cover?) by Grant Morrison and Dave McKean.

The wonderful Dave Gibbons, co-creator of the Watchmen, is in there too with the paperback of his solo project The Originals, which was very well received in hardback by both readers and critics. And an old favourite character of mine is there too – the Plastic Man gets a seventh volume in the Archive Edition series (which we offer a handsome 30% discount on all of that range), written and illustrated by the terrific Jack Cole. Seven volumes of classic material and still going – how far can this series stretch (ok, sorry, bad pun)?
