Edinburgh SF Book Group November

Books, Conventions and events

In a change from the norm this November’s meeting of the Edinburgh SF Book Group will be on a Thursday rather than the normal Tuesday; specifically Thursday 10th of November. The venue will be Henderson’s fine veggie cafe on Hanover Street in Edinburgh’s New Town and we will be meeting at the usual time of 6pm; everyone is welcome to come along.

The book for November will be the classic Alfred Bester novel The Demolished Man (Bester becomes the first author to feature twice on our reading list, incidentally). December’s meeting details haven’t been fixed yet, but the book will be City of Saints and Madmen by Jeff VanderMeer (and just in time to be a taster of Jeff’s unique style before his large, new work Shriek comes out in the UK in January).
