Sony PS2 and X-Box owners look set to have their playing fingers tapping over a new superhero game as Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment announced they were working on a new game for those platforms based around the popular Justice League of America comic. Jason Hall, Senior Vice President of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment was quoted as saying:
“We are excited to announce a videogame that will bring the legendary super-heroes of the Justice League of America to the next level for gamers. The innovative and highly engaging combat system in the Justice League of America game will capture the strength and appeal of the characters, offering players a tremendously fun and rewarding experience.”
The game will, like the comic, feature quite a diverse range of DC’s superheroes, from the likes of Batman and Superman to the Flash, Martian Manhunter, Wonder Woman and our favourite magician-in-stockings, Zatanna. Billed as ‘a superhero, action, role-playing-game’ the JLA is set for release in the autumn of 2006. Thanks to Pat at Diamond Comics for the info.
