Stan The Man Lee, creator of Spider-Man, the Hulk, Fantastic Four… (list goes on for a ridiculous length – the man is just a Comic Icon) has settled his court case with Marvel over unpaid royalties due him, notably from the huge profits on the Spider-Man movies by Sam Raimi. Marvel decided not to pursue their earlier appeal and have settled with the venerated Guru of the Four-Colour Page. The deal is thought to be worth millions. His lawyer, Howard Graff quipped: “Mr Lee’s “friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man” had turned out to be quite a friend.”
