I received a very unusual couple of emails from Morta and Gogol the other day; they were colourful and confusing at the same time, but they were certainly a couple of the most unusual emails I’ve had this week. The gist of them – at least, I think this is the gist of them – is that they are producing some original art prints and are hoping that sales of them can fund the publication of their planned graphic novel.
As I say, I think this is the essence of it; Morta and Gogol move in mysterious ways (which is no bad thing). They have both a blog up here and a FLICKR site for images that you can check out; I’m not even going to try and describe them – suffice to say they are vey unusual (I had a mental image of Tim Burton collaborating with the Brothers Quay) and it makes more sense for you to have a look yourself.
