I’ve just added a very interesting new title to the graphic novels web site: Sense – A Sequential Art Anthology. The nice people at Top Shelf have produced this unusual title which comprises material written and drawn by students and faculty members of the Savannah College of Art and Design.

Basically it is a showcase for what hopefully will be some of the emerging new talent into the comics scene. I think it’s an excellent idea – the readers get to see some very unusual new material and at the same time new talent is nourished. Kudos to Top Shelf and SCAD – this is certainly a title I’ll want to have a look at come the September release.
And while I’m talking Top Shelf I just had to share this book with you (also a September release) – Will You Still Love Me if I Wet the Bed? by Liz Prince. It’s described as the sort of book that will appeal to those of us who enjoy Jeffrey Brown and it’s certainly not a title you’ll forget!
