Ariel over on the Alien Online reports that this week’s BBC has a double-bill of Mastermind, with both episodes featuring contestants who have the special subject category of SF authors: Arthur C Clarke and Iain M Banks. The shows begin at 8pm on Tuesday November 1st at 8pm on BBC2; Banksie, of course, is due to appear as a contestant himself in a future edition of Mastermind, where he will show that the ‘M’ in his name stands for ‘malt’ as his specialist subject will be whisky.
