One of our Book Picks titles in the first issue of the FPI magazine, Air by the excellent Geoff Ryman, has won the Sunburst Award for the best Canadian Science Fiction novel. As well as being a richly deserved honour for the UK-based ex-pat it also confers upon Geoff the right to name the first moose of the spring season in Alberta. Congrats to Geoff, it is well-deserved.
