General

Nicolas Cage, the actor who is well-known in the industry for being incredibly keen to play a superhero on celluloid (he was linked to several movie developments over the last few years, including, ironically, the Superman film) has, according to his publicist, named his new child after Superman.

No, he’s not called Clark. According to ABC news he and his wife are now the proud parents of little baby Kal-el. The FPI blog has so far been unable to find out if Mr Cage intends to put young Kal-el in a rocket and fire him to another world. Cage has, as most of you probably know by now, finally scratched his superhero itch as he will be playing Marvel’s flaming-headed spectre, Ghost Rider.
