Jeff VanderMeer has just posted his report and impressions of the recent World Fantasy convention in Madison. It is a little like a postmodern Odyssey, with Jeff sailing from bar to bar, meeting to meeting, panel to panel, with the great of the genre replacing the characters Ulysses encountered (and Jeff did get to take his own Penelope with him, despite the attempted intervention of the Fates). And there’s something about smoking bunnies; no don’t ask me, go read it for yourselves!
