We’re used to hearing about forthcoming graphic novels being delayed beyond their original publication dates, sometimes by a couple of weeks, sometimes much longer. It is a bugbear for our readers and our staff alike, but given the complexities of printing not just a book but an illustrated colour work it is often unavoidable. But for once we are about to enjoy the reverse: DC is shipping the Absolute Sandman earlier than the original November date. In fact we are hearing that it may well ship within the next week or so, although obviously that isn’t set in stone. Well, there goes my pocket money for the month… But I must have it…
