Lewis Trondheim has emerged as the big winner at this year’s Angoulême International Comics Festival, being elected the new laureate of the town of Angoulême’s ‘Grand Prix’ 2006. Most of the awards are for publications not yet in English translation, with more details available on the official site. lewis has a new publication, A.L.I.E.E.E.N. due from First Second Books this spring.
