Dan Clowes and Terry Zwigoff’s Art School Confidential adaptation (from material originally in Eightball I believe) has aired at the Sundance film festival, although reception was mixed according to trade paper Variety. Personally I wouldn’t put a lot of stock in Variety’s opinion as I’m not sure they would have the cultural knowledge to ‘get’ a Zwigoff/Clowes production; I’m a big fan of both of them and given their excellent track record together I’ll reserve judgement until I see it myself.
