Top comics scribe Brian K Vaughan is to work his writing magic for cult TV show Lost; rumours have been circulating but now BKV has officially announced the news on his own blog. Fortunately it will not mean him giving up on comics:
“And no, I’m absolutely not leaving comics. There are a lot of Y: The Last Man and Ex Machina fans at the show, so everyone has been great about leaving me just enough time to work on those books, and even some new ones, including an upcoming four-issue stint on that Runaways guy Joss Whedon’s “eighth season” of Buffy the Vampire Slayer over at Dark Horse.”
Well, thank goodness for that – if I don’t get my Y- the Last Man fix I won’t be answerable for the consequences (seriously, it is one of the best ongoing series around – I’m just getting into the most recent volume, Kimono Dragons, and this series just gets better and better).
