Hearty congratulations and best of luck to those nominated – it is a fine list, although I am a little disappointed, not to mention surprised, not to see Hal Duncan’s superlative Vellum on the novels shortlist, although it was on the longlist (full details available on the BSFA’s website). Voting is by BSFA members and those attending this year’s big British SF event, Eastercon (in Glasgow this year) with ballots closing at the con at 6pm on Saturday 15th April. Now we wait with bated breath for the Arthur C Clarke awards nominees.
