School children in the Lothians, Scotland, will be getting a series of cartoons to make them aware of dangers and how to avoid or report them. Edinburgh-based software company Learning Curve has been involved in the design, with the cartoons dealing with child abuse, bullying, peer pressure and violence. The initiative is backed by the council and Lothian and Borders Police. It’s hoped the format will be more accessible to kids and help them identify problem behaviour.
