Boing Boing has a great story about Jeremy Adolphson who began sending 4″ by 6″ notecards to artist he admired when he was 17, asking them to draw a picture on it (he included an SAE). Now several years on he has an amazing collection of work by a huge range of artists, including some of the best in the industry such as Hunt Emerson, Will Eisner and Dan Clowes.
