Via Heidi at the The Beat comes a link to one of the latest comics creators to start a blog, Mister Eddie Campbell. In what looks to be only his second post he explains just why the new edition of From Hell too such a Hell of a long time (but at least it is here now, hurrah) and how the new cover art came into being (after a false start).

And we’d be completely remiss if we didn’t mention that Eddie Campbell’s own work, especially The Fate of the Artist & How to be an Artist are wonderful pieces of work that should be gracing everyone’s bookshelves.

Quite right, Eddie is one of those creators I’d pick up work by without knowing anything about it, just because it is by him. Incidentally he talked very briefly about Fate of the Artist on here last year just before it came out: http://forbiddenplanet.co.uk/blog/?p=367.
