Okay, very bad pun even by my standards, but bad musicals deserve bad puns. Yep the Elton John-Bernie Taupin adaptation of Anne “now writing for the Lord” Rice’s bestselling Vampire Chronicles, Lestat, is to close already after a brief run beginning in late April. Critics were less kind than one of Anne’s (in)famous public notices in the press and it looks like the public agreed with them.
