The final copy is going up for the last Infinite Matrix. Boing Boing draws attention especially to an intersting article by William Gibson, godfather of Cyberpunk, in which Bill tells us how he came to science fiction when he picke dup on a 15 cent Classics Illustrated version of The Time Machine. This issue also, among many other little gems, contains a novelette by a couple of my favourite Singularity Scribes Charlie Stross and Cory Doctorow, who are both nominees in the BSFA awards announced the other day.
Boing Boing also mentioned that Palestine author Joe Sacco has created a short strip for the Guardian newspaper detailing some of the abuses of prisoners by American forces in Iraq. The direct link doesn’t seem to work very well, but a PDF version is availble from the article header in the Weekend section.
