Boxing, I will confess, is not a sport I have ever found terribly appealing (I prefer fencing for my martial arts, swashbuckler that I am). But Muhammad Ali is one of those figures who reaches out way beyond just boxing fans, a genuine 20th century iconic figure. Neca have created an 18 inch high, incredibly detailed (even the texture of the skin looks quite realistic) talking figure of Ali. I remember seeing this on our webstore and thinking it was interesting, but being a comics fiend was more interested in the giant Hellboy figure. Then the Ali figures arrived in the store this week and I saw it up close – it’s pretty darn stonking.
