[...] The return of the BBC’s venerable storytelling show Jackanory has also been noted, with the show’s interpretation of the Magician of Samarkand nominated in the best drama category. Regular readers may recall that artist Kellie Strøm was involved in that production, creating some truly gorgeous artwork to illustrate the story, which was read by Sir Ben Kingsley (you can see some of the art in the interview Kellie did with FPI’s Kenny Penman here several months ago). Last year the kid’s popular vote went to Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, while Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit took the Best Film gong; the awards are announced at the London Hilton Hotel on November 25th and will be hosted by former kid’s presenter Keith Chegwin (kids reading this may have to ask their parents who that is). (source: BBC) Print this Story Send to a Friend [...]

Cheers for that. I remember reading and enjoying Airforce Amazons ages back but can't for the life of me remember where. It must have been an anthology - Scenes from the Inside maybe? Or something from Slab-O-Concrete?

(Strolls around Kellie's site for a bit)

Ah, it was Inkling!
