Robert Charles Wilson bagged the best novel for Spin, tele and movie SF fans will be well chuffed with Joss Whedon’s Serenity winning the Best Dramatic Presentation Long Form while Blighty’s own Doctor Who proved to be more than just a UK hit by winning Best Dramatic Presentation Short Form for the episodes “Empty Child” and “The Doctor Dances” – hurrah!!!! Good mate of the FPI blog, the inestimable Dave Langford will now struggle to put yet another award on his groaning shelves as he picked up the gong for Best Fan Writer; that is to say best writing by a fan and not to infer Dave spends his time writing small Haikus onto oriental fans.
