Adi and Scot at Big Head Press sent me details of a forthcoming new work, La Muse, which will be serialised on the Big Head Press site beginning in January, with plans for a full-colour print version to be published the following year (have a browse while you are there as the team have more graphic novels serialised there for you to check out). La Muse is written by Adi Tantimedh with artwork from Spanish artist Hugo Petrus (who drew the short story Fracture for Dark Horse and a Doctor Strange tale for Marvel).
Adi, who has credits on DC’s JLA: Age of Wonder and Blackshirt for Moonstone among others, described La Muse as “a science-fiction comedy about Power, the horrors and absurdities of Celebrity, moral dilemmas, and the love-hate relationships between sisters. Think of an updated Strangers In a Strange Land, and the works of Olaf Stapledon, Bruce Sterling, Noam Chomsky and Harlan Ellison, with all their crazy, mind-blowing ideas and sheer irreverence, and you have La Muse.”
