Word Balloon has a podcast interview with the Most Excellent Mike Mignola up on their site, talking about Hellboy, the BPRD, a forthcoming new mini-series from Dark Horse and the animated Hellboy “Sword of Storms” which is due to air on the Cartoon Network in the US soon (I wonder when we will get it in the UK?). He also tantalises listeners by floating the idea of a Lobster Johnson mini-series, which I would just love to see; despite only a few appearances through the whole of the Hellboy adventures over the years he’s become one of my firm favourites (and a fave with lots of other fans too, I know). I love the pulp 30s serial style. While we’re talking about the ‘claw’, there is an incredibly cool Lobster Johnson statue being added to the Hellboy range around December.
