ICV2 reports that Marvel has cut a deal with Equal Entertainment in Vancouver (where many an American show is filmed) to create a live-action TV show of Moon Knight. The recent mini-series (now an ongoing series) of Moon Knight by novelist Charlie Huston and artist David Finch has been very well received and seems to have given the character a new lease of life (a hardback collection is due in December while Orbit are introducing the UK to Charlie’s novels with the excellent Already Dead in the New Year). Here’s hoping it fares better than the Blade live-action TV series which was recently cancelled.

Are there any Moon Knight conventions happening?

I’d tend to doubt it, Don, its pretty uncommon to have a comics convention dedicated to just one character, you’re probably best watching the comics conventions to see if they announce either Charlie Huston or any of the artists involved in the comic as guests. Perhaps if the TV series ever takes off there may be conventions, but I’ve not heard anything else about it recently
