SF Crowsnest has just posted an entire raft of news items on their site covering the Doctor Who Christmas Special and several upcoming episodes of the Who-spinoff show Torchwood (we like anything with Captain Jack Harkness in it round here). Rather than try to summarise several posts (with potential spoilers if you don’t want to know) I direct you to the good offices of the SF Crowsnest. I do like the seasonal picture on the official BBC Doctor Who site though:
Sticking with the Who theme, two new additions to the 12″ range of detailed dolls have been announced, with the Ood (from the spooky Devil-themed episode from Season 2) and the Clockwork Droid from the very popular Girl in the Fireplace episode, complete with a removeable ‘porcelain’ masque (with clockwork detailing underneath) and period costumes – I suspect that one especially will be very popular (go great with the 12″ Cyberman!).
