Books, Comics and cartoons, General

Bestselling Scottish crime novelist Ian Rankin has been in the Orkney Islands, at the Highland Park distillery to be exact, where they are selecting a single malt whisky to mark the 20th anniversary of his most famous creation, Inspector Rebus (I can personally vouch for the quality of Highland Park). Next year Ian, who I know enjoys a good comic, will be following in the footsteps of fellow Scottish crime novelist Denise Mina by writing for DC’s Hellblazer.
