ICV2 has picked up on a tale from Publisher’s Weekly that the Hachette Book Group has approached former DC VP of booktrade sales Rich Johnston to head a new graphic novels imprint. Few details have emerged but it it thought the new imprint would be quite diverse, covering manga, children’s work, adults, original material and more – obviously the mainstream booktrade is getting more and more onboard with the ideas of the graphic novel.
