It is a U-turn in the Bullpen as Marvel, who wrapped up Spider-Girl with issue #100, to much outcry from fans, announced she is actually coming back in a new series, Amazing Spider-Girl, due this October, with a special issue zero before that which will recap her history. Which is great news for the fans, but does beg the question, why scrap her in the first place only to bring her back a few months later? Is this a cynical marketing ploy to get fans more interested and debating online or a genuine result from fan pressure and a big publisher listening to what those fans want?
