Boing Boing reports on a new award for user-submitted cartoons on the web, organised by Fred Seibert of Channel Frederator. From the site:
“Welcome to the Channel Frederator Awards Voting Page. If you can’t understand why you’re here after reading the title of this website, you don’t deserve to vote.
There are 11 categories to vote on ranging from the serious to the seriously funny. All of the films in each category are readily available to download from this page in case you missed a Channel Frederator episode or fifty. So no excuses!
Here comes the hard part: When you have selected a film you would like to vote for…take your mouse arrow, and put it over “vote for this!” Then click. Our little web fairies will make the rest of the magic happen for you. Nifty!
After all that voting, relax! Kick back! Enjoy some pita bread. Tuck yourself in tonight knowing that you made a difference. And stay tuned in December when we announce the winners! We appreciate your support. Happy voting.”
According to BB the awards will be held on Janaury 24th, so go look now and don’t forget to vote!
