The mighty Joss Whedon will be returning to the Buffyverse for Dark Horse, with a new comics six-issue mini-series of Buffy the Vampire Slayer due to debut late this autumn. Joss has said that the new series will pick up on events taking place after the final episode of the TV series three years ago and will effectively be ‘canon’, basically a season 8 of the show. There has been some speculation that we will see Buffy living in Rome with the other Slayers and the Immortal, which was hinted at in Angel but never actually seen. More as we get it.
