Aardman Animation has been given permission to build themselves a new £10 million, three-storey headquarters next to their current home in Bristol’s Gasferry Road, reports the BBC. The new building will have its own ‘mini cinema’ and plans are in place for four wind turbines for the roof to provide some of the power. Work is due to start next year on the building; nice to see things looking up for Aardman with this news following reports of their new deal with Sony recently and their Oscar success a couple of months ago.
