According to the Jerusalem Post even newspapers from supposedly moderate Arab countries have featured anti-Semitic cartoons “depicting Israel as violent and untrustworthy” and using stereotype propaganda images “of ugly, greedy Jews in religious garb, to convey their messages”, despite the current peace summit in Annapolis. While not disputing this or attempting to take sides I can’t help but note that the article doesn’t make mention of Israel flying into Syria on a bombing run recently, nor of the way Arabs and Muslims are often depicted in cartoons by Israeli and Western cartoonists; somehow I doubt only one camp plays the propaganda through cartoon stereotype card.
