I think on reading the entire story thus far, especially the last few sections, Adi and Hugo make it quite clear that although she may proceed from good intentions La Muse is proceeding from the 'spoiled, white girl' privileged background - I recall a recent bit of dialogue which made that quite explicit. The story also showcases the paranoia and dangerous temperament of the right who fear any challenge to their control and are unwilling to accept there are problems requiring addressing. Actually I think the guys have been pretty even handed in showing flaws in all the characters, human or god-like, liberal trying to save the world (as they see it) or raving neo-con demanding assassinations to protect the world (as they see it). Which is one reason why it has been such a terrific read.

I'd been hearing about this from a couple of friends, so I checked it out. Which in my case, to be fair, involved reading the entire work, since I don't think comment would be meaningful otherwise. Talk about displaying the problem with liberalism in a nutshell. A totally narcissistic, arrogant, monoview of the world. All self-disclaimers aside, it chronicles the forced makeover of Earth by a spoiled white girl with Gaia-vagina-whatever superpowers. We already know what fascists liberals are when you give them power. It's why true liberals no longer want to be tarred with the label. Here's hoping it takes a turn for the meaningful, since there's definitely something there. It's just ringing false notes all over the place right now.
