A special Colt Python .357 Magnum presented by the Colt company to James Bond creator Ian Fleming went under the hammer, selling for a cool £12, 000 at auction. The gun and a letter from Colt were given to Fleming after they read of Bond villain Scaramanga using one. Bond himself, of course, preferred something which wouldn’t interfere with the line of his dinner jacket.
