Alex Fitch kindly sent me details of some confirmed coverage of Comica coming up on Resonance FM‘s Strip! and Clear Spot shows in the next few days:
Bandes Dessinees: Between Angouleme & Hanoi (5pm on ‘Strip!’ 01/11/07)
Mixing reportage and romance, acclaimed French auteur and tutor Gérald Gorridge (Les Fantômes de Hanoï) shares his passion for Vietnam, where he has discovered a fresh generation of comics geniuses.
Webcomics: Comica Collaboratories (8pm on ‘Clear Spot’ 01/11/07)
Webcomics wizard Daniel Merlin Goodbrey (Last Sane Cowboy) guides you through experiments in online comics, including cutting-edge blog collaborations by Lingua Comica’s participants.
Fummetti Maestro (8pm on ‘Clear Spot’ 02/11/07)
One of Italy’s finest graphic novelist, Igort (5 is the Perfect Number, Baobab), discusses his personal themes and techniques.
It is also worth noting that Alex will not be able to post these as podcasts after the transmission as he usually does, so you will have to listen to the shows live on Resonance by radio or web; there may possibly be a repeat broadcast later on, but nothing has been confirmed on that score yet. However the second part of Alex and Duncan’s recent talk with Rich Johnston is available as a podcast and can be found, as usual, via Alex’s blog.

In a late change to the schedule, tomorrow’s Clear Spot – Igort, Fummetti Maestro – will be going out at 2pm in the afternoon, sorry!
