DreamWorks has announced that Chris Sanders, who has worked on an impressive list of major animation films including Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King, will direct their upcoming animated project Crood Awakening. Details on the film as being kept quiet, but it is known that it is a comedy set in the Stone Age and is based on a screenplay by former Python John Cleese.
