E! Online reports that Seth McFarlane and Fox are considering a big screen outing for Family Guy, although they will probably hold off green-lighting it until they see how well the imminent Simpsons movie does at the box office. Even if the go-ahead is given McFarlane cautions it would be a while, possibly years in fact, before they could have a Family Guy feature film ready for release given the hectic schedule involved in producing the TV version. He didn’t comment on any potential storylines but did say if he made a movie version he didn’t want to do a ‘the Griffins must save the world’ type of tale. (link via Neorama)
