The winner of The 2007 Albert Uderzo Award for the best bande dessinée album was the first episode for “Dieu n’a pas réponse à tout” (“God doesn’t have an answer for everything”, published by Dargaud) by Nicolas Barral (art) and Tonino Benaquista (story). The book contains six stories in which famous people, ranging from Homer to Marilyn Monroe, return from the dead to help God manage his world full of people.

The prize for the best art was awarded to Christophe Mourier pour “Trolls de Troy, Les Prisonniers de Darshan” (Soleil), and the prize for the best album for an adult audience was awarded to the 15th episode of “Largo Winch” by Jean Van Hamme and Philippe Francq.

François Boucq, who won the award for best art in 2006, was awarded the Sanglier d’Or (or Golden Boar) for his entire oeuvre.Apart from a little statue of a boar (which Albert Uderzo himself created in 2003) the lucky winners also received 5,000 to 6,000 euros each.
