Halloween Looney Tunes

Via Boing Boing comes this great Halloween image from Superape’s Flickr stream – the Looney Tunes animated characters as skeletons in a display for Day of the Dead (the festival, not the film, although it kinda works for the film too!) in a Hollywood cemetery. According to Superape’s Flickr description this is in the same cemetery which is home to the great Mel Blanc (a revered figure among we Seventh Day Cartoonists) and in the lower right of the picture there is a rubbing taken from his gravestone. Happy Halloween!
