Film, TV and radio

You might recall that several months ago I mentioned an article in the Scotsman which discussed a group of Star Trek fans in Dundee who were busy creating their very own Star Trek fan film. Well Nick Cook from Starship Intrepid has been in touch to say that “Heavy Lies the Crown” has been finished and can now be downloaded from the impressive Starship Intrepid website, which also has plenty of other sections for fans to have a good browse through. There are several ways to download the movie, but the easiest way is to use the 150MB torrent file following the link on the site’s Downloads section.- go on, give it a go!

I highly recommend Heavy Lies the Crown. There are a few minor technical problems (mainly with the sound) but the writing and acting are quite superior. It’s a fantastic ride.
