JMS to adapt World War Z?

The Cinema Blend site reports that Babylon 5 creator and comics scribe supreme J M Straczynski is working on adapting the international best-seller World War Z for Paramount (with Brad Pitt tipped as a star, but these things often change in pre-production). If you are unfamiliar with it, the novel is presented as a sort of historical/journalistic look back at a world-wide zombie epidemic, presenting it as if it were a real historical event to be investigated (zombie master John Reppion loved it).

And while we are on the zombie theme, the MooreReppion blog has a link to Stephen R Bissette’s blog where he has some details of some of the contributors and the cover (see above) for Accent UK’s upcoming Zombies anthology this May, following on from their acclaimed previous collections, Monsters, Pirates and Twelve.
