Darren from the Little Chimp Society (an excellent site for all sorts of news on all things illustration) tells me that they have an interview with the Most Excellent John Howe, probably one of the most famous illustrators working in the fantasy genre today and probably best known to millions for his outstanding work visualising J R R Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit, with much of his artwork being translated almost literally into three-dimensional life for Peter Jackson’s film trilogy of Lord of the Rings (on which Howe also worked).
