The guys at top SF&F publisher Orbit have posted a video of fantasy author Karen Miller to YouTube, with Karen discussing the start of her new Kingmaker, Kingbreaker fantasy series with the publication of The Innocent Mage (Orbit’s US side of things will be publishing it to American audiences in the autumn). To celebrate the launch the Orbit team are running a competition to win a copy of every book they publish this year (which is some of the best SF&F around) while runners-up will get a copy of every new Orbit book this month. To be in with a chance of winning you need to answer the question “In the Innocent Mage what does Asher want to save up to buy for himself and his father?” Here’s a hint – the answer is there in the video post; to enter drop an email with your details and the answer to orbit@littlebrown.co.uk by May 1st.
