Kellie Strøm, who we interviewed about his work recently, has some of his beautiful original artwork from his children’s book project “Sadie the Air Mail Pilot” going on show during the school holidays which are just about on us. Kellie wrote in to tell me:
“Some of the original art from Sadie is going to be on show at the Science Museum Bookshop over the mid-term break, from the 17th to the 25th of February. Just a few pieces this time – not as big a show as Amsterdam. I’m still trying to organise something more substantial.”
(an example from Kellie’s Sadie the Air Mail Pilot – didn’t we tell you it was gorgeous?)
Kellie is a superb artist and if you are one of the thousands of London parents dragging your offspring around things to ‘entertain/sedate’ them in the next 2 weeks this might just add some sparkle to your day if one of your destinations is the Science Museum. You can find more details on the quite gorgeous-looking Sadie the Air Mail Pilot book here. Kellie also tells us that he is working once more with Nick Willing, this time on the forthcoming Tin Man mini-series for SciFi which re-imagines L Frank Baum’s classic Wizard of Oz tales – SF Crowsnest has more details on the show.
