Manga Jiman exhibition

You might remember some months ago I mentioned a competition to create between four and six pages of original manga for a competition being organised by the Embassy of Japan in London, as part of their ongoing activities to promote and share Japanese culture. Well the judges have been busy trying to narrow down the many entries they received to a top ten, based on artistic style, ability, use of layout and storytelling. The winners will be announced in the New Year (the grand prize winner can look forward to a trip to Japan) but Andrew Jones from the embassy tells me that there will be an exhibition of the work launching at the embassy (101/104 Piccadilly, London) on January 18th and running through to March 28th, free to visit and open weekdays from 9.30 am to 5.30pm.
